My heart truely does go out to "John 17".... I realize that I didn't know him personally, nor did I even know who he was. But when you see and here of something such as this.. it makes you feel somehow bonded to the person.
I too, was the life of parties even just a matter of months ago. All my friends and i would get tanked and then take turns driving one of my friends cars. We almost hit deer a few times and went off the road.
Recently I moved away from that drinking environment and back home with my mother... a week later.. my boyfriend's little brother, his friend,my friend, and her boyfriend were driving wasted, and ran off the road and hit a tree.
Luckily no one was badly injured, but it scared me to think i could've been with them.
Now, that i read this story, I will always hide keys on my friends and myself if i see the possibility of me wanting to drive will drinking or drunk
(John 17) your legacy will live on and on.... To myself and others around the globe now, you are a true Hero!!!
